I am a graphic storyteller; my art conveys stories of other people, other places, and those of my own. I am influenced and inspired by many visual narrative traditions, especially manga with its characteristic focus on the realms of the personal and the emotional. In my art, I explore life experiences, human relationships and connections with the world around us. I believe that the comic/graphic novel medium is virtually limitless, and can offer so much more than just a quick, entertaining read!
I am also an experienced artist educator; my aim is to involve, inspire and empower others through creating comics and manga.
